Anybody out there running a CM or similar skirted flatbed and pulling heavy with an oversized tire? I run a fence business and I routinely tow 25k pounds with another 5k on the bed. I need more aggressive tires and I want to go up to a 255/80r17 but I’m afraid it will scrub the bed when fully loaded. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

OEM tire seems to be 235/80 r17 witch is 31in tall. 255/80r17 is 33in tall (factory SRW height). You will only need 1in of extra clearance, should not be a huge deal. Next time you load it up check your clearance from the tire to the bed and then measure to your bump stops that will tell you the amount of room you need.

I'm running Firestone XTs in the factory size. Decent aggressive AT.3f3f5eed9f690cd69c35aab3b59adde5.jpg
