Hey guys. Needing some help. 2014 1500 4x4 with a 2.5" level. Wanting bigger tires, Cooper STT Pro. Would I need spacers to fit a 35x12.5x20? What offset are the stock wheels? Any help would be appreciated. Looking to fill out the wheel wells more I have the stock 275/60/20 Goodyear wrangers right now and they look to small. Down the road might want fender flares on it and would want the tires to stick out a bit.

Thanks

Depending on how square the tire is you may need a 10-15mm spacer. There are plenty of us running 35x12.5 on the stock 20x9 without spacers but there are a few variables that come into play. The tire makes all the difference.

what stock 20's do you have? If they are the 20x9 you will more than likely need 1/4" spacers. If they are the 20x8 you most likely won't need any spacers

if you want universal 1/4" spacers you can get them at stores like autozone or advanced auto.

If you want hubcentric you will have to get 3/8" spacers but they are made to order and are not cheap.

So I could run 35s without spacers on these?

Most likely yes as long as you are leveled in the front. I say most likely because not all truck are exactly alike and there are always some that don't follow the general rule.

If they are from the express yes. They look very similar to my Big Horn chrome clad 20's. I ran 35x12.50 with no spacer, but have a lift spindle that does kick the track width out about 1" per side. check the back side of the wheel it will be stamped with 20 x "xx"

The door plaque located on the drivers side door jamb also has all the specs of the wheel as well. I did TONS of research before doing the 35 on my factory wheel. Big Horn 20 is 20x8. When it's off you are like how the hell is that going to fit. If you are concerned about bubbling (bulging sidewall) run them at 50psi. I ran my 35's and 37's at that and the ride is still great.

I have a question. I currently have 20x12 fuel octanes with a -44 offset and 33's along with a 2.75 inch leveling kit, No rub at all and about 3 inches to the fender. Would it be possible to fit 35's on this set up?

You will want to have someone turn the wheel for you while you look as the wheel/tire combo goes from left/right. You will gain 1" all the way around with the 35" on your wheel set up. Keep in mind not all brands are a true 35" tall, maybe closer to 34.8 ish.

What you want to look at is the inner area to make sure you are avoiding and potential rubbing issues.

It will be close for sure

I was told on a 4" the biggest I should is a 34" I have 37's on it no rubbing at all

just to add to all of this....he is also using stock wheels. You have wide wheels with a huge negative offset. The more you stick out past the fender you increase the turning radius. Of course they will fit if you are only driving in a straight line. To make those fit i'm betting you will have to do some fender trimming, liner trimming and probably grind down the pinch weld.

These are Firestone Destination MT2s 35x12.50R20 on factory wheels. I’m running a Supreme Suspension 2” spacer. I had to remove the splash guards because the tires rubbed on them now I have no issues
