4-5 inch lift for a 5th gen 2WD Ram? Which kit/coilovers for the best pavement driving but with offroad capability?

Read that I can put a 4wd lift kit on a 2wd truck. Not sure how entirely true that is. BDS's website says it will not work, other sites say it will
