Im thinking about swapping my OEM Nav for a Kenwood DNN990HD unit. I would pretty much break even if I wanted to sell the OEM. My question is am I an idiot for wanting to go with an aftermarket unit?I ran a DNX kenwood in my Silverado and loved it. Garmin based nav still, easy to ground the parking wire to unlock the safety features etc.
How do I go about using the steering wheel controls, Bluetooth, and back up camera? Anything I should worry about?

My advice to you is to do more research on that head unit. I've done extensive research and it causes nothing but problems for a lot of people. The boot time takes forever!

Pretty sure when you install a double din radio you will have to do some cutting in the dash. A brace near the back of the radio will hinder its installation.

Check some other sites, I know I have read about some of these installations around here somewhere.
