I have a 2019 1500 classic 4th gen 3rd brake light is out the cargo lights work! so I thought brake light bulb burned out so replaced it with new bulb twice nether one worked ! checked for power with key on and key off still no power on either side of the socket or plug connections! I looked for fuse related to chmsl (3rd brake light) but could not find one that says it is related to it ! truck is completely stock any help would be greatly appreciated !

Thank you for your help in advance !

Take the unit right out and check the wires for power, I assume your brake bulbs are working. If no power something in the wiring between fuse and socket. Might need to run new wires if all connections are good and solid and all fuses are seated properly.

It may be only the 5th Gen Rams that have the in Cab fuse panel.

But i am not familiar with any 2019 Rams

I do have to ask, is your 3rd Brake Light LED ?

I did change to LED using factory original light to truck put LED Bulb in
also changed settings with ALFAOBD ! After I changed to LED It worked for over a year ! now no Power going to it with truck running

Assuming your trucks are about the same as my 2013, there is no fuse on the circuit. Directly controlled by the BCM.

So, the problem is most likely in the wiring, the ground or the BCM itself. A perfect job for a multimeter and test light.
