My 2001 5.9 gas burner under heavy uphill acceleration will ping like a fireworks display. What's wrong?

My 2001 5.9 gas burner under heavy uphill acceleration will ping like a fireworks display. What's wrong?

You might need to change to a higher octane fuel, also run top end cleaner thru your engine to remove carbon buildup that may cause pinging on heavy engine load.
