Another good find from member @Hemi395 who doesn't even want to test the don't shoot the messenger thing, but I don't mind. Freak'n engineers not understanding fluid gravity works = unbelievable. If 2018 and earlier wasn't broke, why fix it?? BTW, if you have one of these, it isn't all bad news, you can opt out with a flat tappet.

There is such a regression in Cummins quality they are even bringing back flat tappet cams I kid you not.

One of the reason Cummins went to roller lifters is FCA pushed/wanted them so they could show a lower cost of ownership, one way to do so was by elimination of the valve adjustment that Cummins recommended at 135,000 miles, when I had to done on my 06 5.9l CTD the shop in Oregon charged me an ungodly high price of $250. ;) in 2018

The whole Generation thing has gone off the rails. The current HDs have not even made it to Gen 5, and are still on the 4th Gen cab. Some are even calling the current trucks 6th Gen LOL. A refresh is not a Gen change.

That's the main reason I didn't buy one when they came out with the cummins and 8 speed combo!
