5Gen shifting - aisin

Coming from a chevy gas to a brand new Ram 5th gen 3500 with the turboHO. Question on the shifting of the aisin. I noticed something that I was curious is normal. While the power is enormous, as is the acceleration - the shifting is very noticeable. Much more then I expected. More jerky then I expected. Is this typical on the aisin and not a cause for concern?

In general, yes the Aisin makes deliberate shifts.
