Hi,
So I have a 2019 3500 Mega cab with the Aisin 69. It is deleted with a raceme tune. I do not however beat my truck.
It now has about 80k miles on it.
I changed the transmission fluid on it a few weeks back (second time, previous owner did it at 40k). I then used an oil that according to my oil 'store' was recommended for the JWS3309 specification.
I then drove around 600 miles with it before it started shifting roughly. It got worse and worse quickly and ended up shifting extremely rough and went into some sort of limp mode.
It also threw the DTC P0850: PARK/NEUTRAL SWITCH PERFORMANCE. - This was read via my RaceME Ultra screen.
After this I read into the oil used and came to the conclusion that it was not suitable. After some googling I bought the Motul ATF 3309 and changed to that (also changed the filter again).
The truck again ran flawlessly (or as good as it does with the tune, the Aisin does not really like it) for 750 miles and then it started again.
My "Dodge-nerd" friend suggested that we change the oil again just to make sure that it is not too much of the "bad oil" in it. I am a bit skeptical of this action as I do not believe it is the issue.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
