I have a 2016 1500 CrewCab 4x4 5'7" bed Outdoorsman 20" wheels stock tire size, Hellwig rear sway bar middle hole.

I just installed a set of 68370567AB 5th gen ORP rear coils on the truck.

I got them on, lifted the truck exactly 0".
Difference in ride is pretty incredible.
I pretty much only feel the front and that's with the tires at max pressure which is 44 psi.

Pretty good upgrade going with those springs and under $59 for the set.

I would like to thank Hunterdan for trying this mod first.

Now has anyone tried the front springs???? LOL

I'm running 5th Gen rebel struts and springs, so technically I am. But, if you're not looking for any lift, I wouldn't recommend that route. Although, a set of standard 5th Gen struts should net you the same height as an outdoorsman.

Are the front springs progessive? They don't look like it, but google says yes lol
Did yours give you a better ride or hard to tell if your originals were wore out?

I wasn't looking for the whole assembly but rather just the springs if they would improve the ride.
There are 2 of them that are under $30 a spring.

I don't believe they're progressive rate, believe just linear. They ride fine. Before these I had 5100s with some moog progressive rate springs on and they rode terrible. These were a drastic improvement over them. I'm not sure if I'd want to try and put 5th Gen front springs on a 4th Gen strut since the lengths are different. The preload could be way off and end up making the ride harsher.

Thanks! It's hard to find the dimensions or really any real information on oem springs.
