5th Gen seats in a 4th Gen?

Anybody know if 5th Gen seats will fit in a 4th Gen?

...just looking at a few pictures of used seats for sale on eBay the bracket design/styles on the 2 don't even look close.

The seats from the heavy duty rams might fit as it shares the same cab.

Thought I read somewhere the classics with a particular package had the 5 gen seats. Think my classic express with bucket seats has them. Let me see if I can snap a pic.

Sorry I have seat covers. The pattern is show on new rams I believe. Know it’s not definitive but maybe you have a chance.

While the 5th gen HD 2500 seats will bolt up, the connectors, wiring and modules are different/not directly compatible with a 4th gen.

If you want a chance at getting seats to work currently in 13-18/classic 4th gen, get 13-18/classic 4th gen seats.

So it will fit perfect! Just need the seats with that bar you grab to slide back and forth.

I have 2017 1500 2WD Std Cab Tradesman Express(= Ram Classic now). I added Katzkin leather to my two front seats, arm rest box etc...

I bought an 2022 2500 Tradesman with vinyl seats because I'd measured the bolt pattern and they will swap... I did realize later that the wiring harnesses do not match. Neither have heated seats. The connectors and wiring loom for the airbags/weight sensors etc... are different. So ... no swap. I don't want to unsleeve the old leather, I'll just keep them as they are.
