Question for anyone running a cai on a 6.4. Is it extremely loud under throttle? I had one on my 3rd gen 5.7 and hated the noise. I don't want to spend the money if I'm not going to like it.

It added a lot of extra engine noise on my 3.6L Durango. It did give it just a little more pep but a low growl when you get into it. Had one on my 4.7 Dakota & it wasn't quit as load & was more of a sucking sound.

Hey guys send in some inquiries to AFE they are very close to starting to develop one for the 6.4. Will give everyone a different better option.

I sent inquiries over the weekend to AFE, LMI, S&B and Vararam over the weekend.

Hopefully someone will move some development on a 6.4L CAI forward!

Keep sending them guys. I got word back from AFE that they have a lot of interest for the Cai for the 6.4 I am local to them and asked if I would use my truck for development and I of course said yes. Last I heard they were gonna talk to development and see when they have time to start. Keep sending them in. Also send one in for exhaust. Will give us another option there as well.
