I have a 2010 ram 1500 crew cab with a rough country 6" lift. Ive had it lifted for 1.5 years. I recently developed a vibration which has put some noticeable wear on my front tires.

I took it to the shop and they replaced my tie rod ends and the vibration is gona but I need an alignment now. Guy said I could expect to go through these with a lifted truck.

My question is there anything I can do to prevent my tie rod ends from wearing out so quickly?

It has about 140,000 right now. I think it had 127K-130K when I had it lifted. Getting it aligned now so the problem is solved until the tie rod ends wear out again.

Was just wondering if there was something I could do to make them last longer.

We’re these the original TRE’s or were these part of the RC kit?

The 130k has more to do w/ the wear than the lift.

I've had a hard time keeping tie rod ends with my RC lift too, on my third set with only 80k kms. Switched it up last time and went with Mevotechs with the lifetime warranty (couldn't track down Moogs locally) so hopefully will have better luck this time around.

Try out mevotech or moogs. Also, if those were the original tie rod ends, they probably just sh*t the bed because they had that mileage on them
