I’m looking at getting the rough country 6” lift for my 2019 ram 1500 classic I was wondering if there are any other parts I will need before installing the lift. This will be my first lift kit and I would hate to install it just to take it off again because I’m missing parts any advice would be greatly appreciated. I plan on getting the 6” with vertex shocks and struts and kicker bars, the kit say it had brake line brackets for the rear, so I’m wondering if I need to get new brake lines for the front and if I will need a new drive shaft.

Do yourself a BIG favour. Buy a much better kit. Rough Country is poorly made and poorly engineered. With a 6" lift that poor design and construction is going to give you a LOT of problems.

The advice to contact Nick is spot on. He will help you get everything you need for a good job.

Call Nick and have a discussion. Buy your parts from him. The right lift is very dependant on exactly what you are going to do with the pickup when you are done. Will it be a show vehicle, or serious off road Bonnie basher, a trailer to Rock Crawl Competitions, mud drags and the whole range in between. You aren't providing anywhere near enough info for anyone to give you proper advice on here.

This is great info here. Spot on.

ROUGH Country is not the way to go, they are cheaper for a reason. How you use your truck will determine what recommendations I would make. The Zone kits are very good for the money and then the shock/coil over options will vary based on how you use the truck.
