Hi
Have never had a leak on my 2015 RAM Cummins before. I hauled my trailer in the snow a few weeks ago and saw the leak shortly after. The truck "chattered" a few times spinning in the show. Maybe torqued the tranny and engine around a bit. Definitely nothing serious.
I pushed up the mesh hose to expose the rubber hose (see picture) and wiped everything totally clean.
Ran the truck for about 3 minutes and the small drip appeared on the coupling as shown. Looks like it is coming from under the mounting bracket rubber protector.
Anyone seen this before?

Hi rammers
So since the leak appeared local to the mounting bracket I pulled it apart. Lots of sand, moisture, and corrosion! I scraped it clean and fired up *********. See the pic. I cleaned it more, went right done to fresh metal with Emery cloth. Smoothed some JB Weld on both tube's and will reassemble when cured. Should be solid. If it fails I'll tell you.

Another reason to use the bypass, when those fail it takes the transmission with it. This item takes that garbage off your truck and stops any chance it will clog. The OEM has a valve that will fail at some point, this bypass no valve in it.

Well Rammers, my great fix failed in like, five days. Doesn't leak as much, but leak never the less.
I guess I'll have to figure out exactly what part(s) I need. Seems stupid to buy the whole, up to $800, hose system when it is just a small piece of the tubing. Any ideas?

Hunt up your local farm impliment dealer and see if they can duplicate the hose. You'll have to remove the hose and take it to them,as they probably won't have a listing for your truck.
Another avenue to try would be an oilfield supply house.

When I replace my bypass valve I won't go with a full flow like the ATS , I would spend the extra $ and go with Mishimoto bypass , living in a cold climate like I do , I would run the Mishimoto full flow when towing in the hot months , or when the temperature is hot and the thermostat in the winter ,let that transmission heat up like its supposed to .
