6X9 to 5x7 brackets

does anyone know if converting the 6x9s to 5x7s if the brackets will work in 1500 sports. reason being is i pulled all my JL stuff out of my old truck and i have 4 C2 570x speakers, these sound beautiful. But i ordered the JL 6x9s and would like to install a set of the 5x7s in the front and 6x9s in the rear

it should as long as you have the depth, may need spacers as well

I would use the 6x9 up front and the 5x7 for fill in the rear

i would put the 6x9 up front as well if you have the room in the door. As for adapters they have them on amazon, ebay, or if you are feeling squirrley and have a jig saw go buy a small 2x2 piece of mdf and make your own, spray them with the bedliner stuff and use them.

Glad to see a Ford guy switching over. As others said, put the larger speaker in the front.
