8.4 SiriusXM buffering

I have noticed that if I take a phone call over Bluetooth, Sirius will pause and resume in the same place when I end the call. I've seen this happen up to an hour later.

Why the &*%*&^ does Sirius cut out when driving under an overpass for 2 seconds or past a tall building when the radio can clearly buffer for at least an hour?

It doesn't buffer in the way online videos pre download content. It works more like a DVR, recording what it hears. If listening to recorded content you could even have a disrupted signal that actually occurred in the past causing cutout log after the original interference. Kinda like watching a DVR satellite TV episode and it getting cutoff for the storm that was that night. Sirius does broadcast down two signals one 4 seconds behind to help with this, but given how picky stationary Satellite TV is it is a miracle they can do what they do.

On a plus side it does this for all satellite presets when the radio is on so when you change channel it starts at the beginning of the song.
