Hey guys this evening I was pulling my transmission to replace my torque converter. I forgot to remove the bolts for the torque converter and I didn't get to feel the clicks do any of y'all know the off set for the torque converter to the front of the housing or how many clicks to put it on the splines. Don't worry I'm going to be changing the seal in the transmission that goes around the torque converter.

IIUYC, you are trying to figure out how to know when the TC is fully seated in the tranny. Easiest way to be sure is to install the TC and slowly rotate it until the splines engage and the TC "drops in". Then put a straight edge across the bell housing and make sure the TC threaded bosses are below the edge and it spins freely with no wobble. That means the pump is engaged. If not, repeat rotating the TC until it does drop in.

Should be 3 distinctive clics, and it should be at least a 1/2" back from the bellhousing face
