9/11 Memorial Photoshoot For Truck Of The Month Contest

I had to take some photos for the September TOTM contest that I was nominated for, and the photos had to have a flag in them, so I went to the 9/11 Reflective Garden just down the street from my house. I have been waiting to post these until the TOTM post went up. Now that it’s up, I can post these.

Camera Equipment Used:

Body: Canon Rebel T7i DSLR
Lens: Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/4-5.6 IS STM
Lens Attachments: Altura 58MM 0.35x Wide Angle Lens.
Lens Filters: Neewer 58mm UV, CPL, ND4 and ND8 filters.
Tripod: Mactrem PT55 Tripod

Photos do not have any effects on them or filters, however they have been lightly edited in photoshop. I adjusted the brightness and contrast and then I adjusted the shadows and highlights and that is all. No filters, no Actions, no effects. Some of the photos the clouds are like that because the photos were taken at 6:00am - 7:00 so some of the sunrise shots have a super orange & red sky. Most of the photos are exactly how they were shot with my T7i, aside from post brightness/contrast and shadow/highlights adjustment.

Great pictures! Been meaning to get out and shoot some pictures myself, probably hit up the some of the local vehicle shows. If anyone is going to be showing their truck in the metro Detroit area, let me know.

Nice photos except for that Dutch angle one. I just can't get behind those angles. My daughter loves them too. just not my tea.

Now I have the itch. I need to winter detail the truck and then find time to get photos before it's dirty again

Thanks. The camera makes all the difference. My current camera + camera accessories + video accessories is over $1,500 right now. Cell phone cameras are nice but just can not compete with today’s DSLR or Mirrorless cameras.

Lmao what the heck is a “Dutch angle” haha. I’m guessing you mean the 2 photos where the truck is angled and the camera was angled aswell?
