96 1500 charging problem

I own a 96 dodge ram indy edition. While driving truck charging is fine, at idle charging system drops off, the more load the worse it gets. Alternater is good & computer has been checked & no issues found any help would be great. Truck has a 5.9l w/17.000 mi

96 is not exactly a 4th generation, but in any case I'd check battery, battery cables (on the chassis/engine side). Not sure if the 96 has a battery temperature sensor but that's far fetched to begin with.

Yeah I know I posted on wrong thread, I also have A 2009 1500 and clicked on wrong one. Thanks for the suggestion I will check all
