There's video's on YT on how to bench flash PCM's, there's even ones that are Dodge specific,and show you how to open up the factory PCM and what you have to do to unlock the later PCM's.It's not really all that hard to unlock them

Well to keep everyone in.the loop, you cannot copy the base tune from a 4th gen classic with a locked pcm.

HP tuners does not support.

Updated software, as fresh as today, mpvi 4 and hp tuners unlock cable.
No ability to copy transmission tune. Will also not copy engine tune.

Hp tuners at this point, appears does not support 4th gen classic, at least for the 2024 model year

I did hear the support for the 24/25 aint there yet. I heard it has something to do with all the new anti theft stuff that is baked into the locked OE PCM's. Sure worked fine on the older 4th gen (my 16).

Yeah no problem with my 14 or 16, but they have not cracked the 24.

You can unlock the pcm, but you can't tune it

Looks like HPtuners support only goes up to '21 Classic.

Well S_h-i_T, that sucks!!!!!!!!

Now I'm extra concerned if I put high-flow cats on and the anti-foulers I bought (both 90deg and straight ones) don't keep the dash from lighting up...ugh!!!!

I may just have to go to a pair of factory OEM stock 5.7 cats????
I don't want to, but if my truck can't be tuned, then I'm screwed if the dash lights up....

Unless there's some other way of ensuring I can keep the dash lights off and not affecting my engine performance??

Ok guys, HP tuners is working on it. I got an email from them last week while I was riding my motorcycle up in the UP of Michigan.

The engineering team is actively working on my issue and will let me know when I can test their work.

They are working on 24 so I can only assume it will cover 23 and 22. Since they already support 21, classics.
