96 ram no spark

So my 96 ram 1500 5.9 wont start it has no spark it was running fine and I went to drive it the next day and nothing just cranks over. I have replaced the ignition switch and the coil still nothing im not sure what to check next any ideas?

Inside your distributor there is a disk looking thing, it's called the pick up coil...have you replaced or inspected it?

Can't do the key trick on a 96, it has analog gauges.

ill put a scanner on it but no check engine light is coming on at all even when I first put the key to the on position. ill check the coil under the cap im dreading taking it off that thing is in the worst spot possible

If it has no fire it could be ur crank sensor, or as adam said ur pick up coil.. even tho your check engine light isnt on it can still throw some codes. Mine threw the o2 sensors and didnt pop a engine light but did pop a code. A crank sensor should pop a check engine light tho..

D36rmrider, Did you figure out your issue? I have the exact same problem on my 96 5.9 and i have replaced all the below mentioned sensors, cam, crank, idle air, fuel pressure is 50, pick up coil, cap, rotor, battery, and the ECM 3x. Truck just cranks and cranks with no check engine light. I'm now getting a occasional clicks from the relay box in between start attempts! Fuel pump also running longer than 3 sec but remember pressure is at 50! Someone PLEASE HELP!
