I asked the shop owner why I had no check engine light on? He said they don't always show up. I told him I was thinking about purchasing an $85.00 code reader.I then asked him if it would have picked up this error code. He said probably not. They usually only pick up the ones when the check engine light is on. I asked him how much I would have to spend to get one that picks up all errors and he said $600.00 just like this one.

After the repair the vibration is worse. The transmission guy told me sometimes that happens. They are going to open up the transmission next Tuesday. Minimum estimate was $1200.00 and the high estimate was $2500.00.

Dang and I thought 1400$ was a lot to rebuild my tranny.

Well The Torque converter was replaced and the Transmission rebuilt. $1900 minus the $200 in parts from the previous repair. It's currently repaired. Thanks
