I have a 98 Ram 3500 4x4 with an in tank fuel pump. The truck will crank fine but the fuel pump wont turn on, even if I do the bump trick.
I changed what I believed to be the fuel pump relay, pic included. It was just hanging on the driver side fire wall.
What wires do I test to see if its getting fire to the fuel pump? Im not that good with wiring and electrical.
My computer is also showing a diagnostic trouble code detected in Powertrain control module. P1693. Could this mean my Pcm is bad?
And P0122 Throttle position sensor voltage.
Oreillys has a Precision pump for $650. Is that a good brand and are all those 35 gallon pumps that expensive? What's the best pump in case I need a new one?
Is there any way the pcm might not be allowing the fuel pump to turn on? It was starting to shutter and drive a lil funky before it started doing this.
Any help would be wonderful.
