Nice mod, are headers an easy install?

from what ive learned, id say yea. ill be doing them here in about a month maybe if i remember ill do a write up.
but at the same time ill be cleaning the rest of the mud out of the engine bay. gotta get it pretty again!

you could strip all the pacesetter paint off and then spray it with the vht high temp

That was the first thing I saw...I think the headers were the third thing. There is another controller under the table but cant quite make it out...

This. ^^ That black paint will stay on for maybe, three minutes after you start the truck. Mine has already completely flaked off.

There is also a ceramic coating you can spray on I believe. But yeah that paint wont last

If your waiting a month check the price at any local race shops for them to coat them for you.

I had a buddy give me a price for the coating was 100$ just to give a round about that's what ill be doing

What about the header wrap alot say it makes them rust fast but had it on my headers on my mustang for a year and had n/p's with it

I know it's not that cheap but idk how well it will work. I've never used it personally.

Header wrap is really cheap, we put it on my brother grand prix when he got pacesetter headers for it. Unfortunately he only owned it for a little under a year longer so I can't tell you if it made them rust or not.

No header wrap on the headers. Do it right or not at all
