Was running the motor at idle right after changing the TPS today and notice that the A/C clutch kicks on and spins like every 30 seconds. Is this normal?

Yes. That's because the A/C compressor doesn't have a sump per se', so the HVAC cycles it about every 30 seconds to keep the oil reirculating in the system.
It also helps keep the air dry when you use any defrost seting. The dryer air decreases the time needed to defrost the windshield.

Ah ok, just didn't know if that was normal. Every vehicle I've had prior to this one has either been a/c-less or the compressor was dead and never replaced lol.
