My front suspension is making a lot squeaking noise. Not sure of it needs new shocks, coils, or whatever.
Also every time I turn the wheel it makes a noise.
Any help would be great!

I did mine myself on my 96...the uppers and lowers are both pressed in on the earlier ones...used the NAPA Chassis Parts ball joints, after renting the press and all, I was in it for about $100...thats doing both sides.

Yes, all four ball joints...are you 2WD or 4WD? If you're 4WD then then using the Master Ride ball joints from NAPA are going to run you $19.35 each for the uppers and $36 for the lowers...all are pressed in. That's only $110.70 for parts...

If you're a 2WD the uppers are $38.25 each and the lowers are $39.60 each. All of them are riveted on, so all you have to do is grind the rivets off, remove the old joints then bolt the new ones on with the supplied hardware. That would run you like $155.70.

As far as difficulty, on a scale of 1-10, I'd give it a 4 on a 2WD.

Here some pics of when I did mine...

On mine it fixed both...mine would be noisy as hell going over bumps and turning the wheel. I changed the shocks at first, thinking that was the problem, but it wasn't. Was told to switch out my ball joints, and did so....BAM no more noise. Mine got so loud, you could hear me turning down the street from a mile away.

So for some odd reason the noise has gone away. However, before it went away I notice the noise was actually coming the driver side. Starting to think it was just a bushing or maybe a tie-rod.
