That will never happen . They make these tuners where you cant mess things up .
That would be sweet scott. Do you think there would be a market for users that can purchase a tuner for a price then use the internet to purchase tunes for multiple vehicles. Such as like an mp3 player and the mp3's?? Like I could tune my Mustang and my truck with tunes that I purchase from like an SC Store?? Just a thought.
This is the truth. I have beta tested for SC several times. I have always been very impressed with the quality of the products I have tested, as well as the involvement SC has in the beta test process. I would feel comfortable beta testing a heart valve for these guys.Dave is 100% correct. We do 2 forms of safety and quality testing before releasing to the public: Alpha and Beta.
Alpha is all internal so if there is a major problem in coding, etc.. our vehicles are the only ones affected.
Once Alpha testing is concluded Beta goes into affect. We go outside the company for most of the beta testing so that we can get info on how the product is affected by climate, elevation, and user abuse.
Once all scenarios have been tested and pass we release to the general public.
Some times we are first to market and some we are not. For us, bragging rights are not as important as customer safety.

gator, look up the htc thunderbolt
To this point, I've experienced first hand how particular Superchips is when it comes to product testing. They demand the highest levels of R&D and won't release a product until they are sure it can run for many, many years without issue. Dodge Ram tuning has been around for 6+ years and during that time, it's been stable as all heck. Some folks have been running their tuning that long without any issues. I know Superchips strives for OEM like longevity, safety and then they add their awesome tuning products. I ran the alpha of the trans options and I can tell you that phase of testing was as stable as any trans product available today. It's better to be right the first time, than first in my opinion.Dave is 100% correct. We do 2 forms of safety and quality testing before releasing to the public: Alpha and Beta.
