used gears dont have a break in procedure cause they are already broke in...the new ones do....i'd put the used up front and the new in the back so you can break them in properly, you will be using the rear more than the front of course....

NO, they are not the same. They are not the same axle, nor do they turn the same direction.damn, didn't read your hole post before i replied. the rear gears will fit up front? thought they were different sizes just same ratio?
hmm, never thought about that. does the front still turn when 4x4 not engaged? and does the break in for the front require 4x4 to be engaged?
