Hello. I have a single cab 2014 1500 ram 5.7 and i got the abs code C2200. Says it’s an internal electronic failure for the abs so i’m gonna replace it. But im wondering do i need to replace the whole pump or just the plastic part since it’s an internal failure. Also my abs part number is P68292756AB. I just can’t seem to find similar modules ending in AB they’re all Ac,Ad or AA. Could i use any of those? help or advice would be appreciated thanks.

I don't remember the codes I had, but I had ABS and brake lights on which lead me down the path of ABS module. I found a used ABS computer (plastic part only) on FB marketplace and it worked for me. the replacement is very simple, but you will need to reprogram the the truck's computer after you replace the module. For that, I found a relatively inexpensive OBD2 scanner on Amazon (XTool D7). There are one or two companies that will rebuild your ABS module so you do not have to reprogram the truck. But you have to ship the module to them and would be without it for a couple weeks.

Also, I have since learned that brake fluid is hydroscopic (meaning it absorbs water) and I wonder if old fluid could be the cause of ABS computer module failure. You may consider flushing your brake fluid to avoid another failure. (I'm no mechanic...just guessing at the cause of failure).
