The Abs and traction control lights constantly stay on. For the longest time I am told this is a chip issues, now I am hearing that it is the module that is bad. The Brake light also stays on. Has anybody come across this issue and where is the best place to find a replacement that will cure this issue.

i hit a huge pothole a few weeks ago and the dash lit up with service trailer brakes and abs/traction control. got an alignment done and it cleared my troubles. if you havent had an alignment done recently, might give it a shot.

You need to see what specific codes are in the system and go from there. Probably a dozen different codes for slightly different reasons that will trigger those lights. There is absolutely no way somebody can say with certainty what the exact issue is based on the dash lights being on.
Once you verify the exact codes there are certain trouble-shooting procedures you can use to further trace down the issue. For example, it could be a bad wheel speed sensor or rubbed through wire....the exact codes would point you in that direction. Or could be something else like a bad module, but generally the codes will at least point you in the right direction.
