Just checked today. I am made whole again! It saddens me to have had to go to these lengths. And although I'm no Rockefeller, if I honestly total the time it took to make this right at my base salary, yeah, I could probably have eaten the cost of both sets of lights but that was NEVER going to happen. If you are going to empty my wallet you better have Houdini hands or Dirty Harry's hand cannon! Pretty much going to try and wait out stuff better.... eventually everything finds its way to Amazon lol I'm sure one day I'll regret it... but in the here and now Amazon is pronounced Amaze-en in my book. Lol

Roadrambler, you sound like me... people think I'm made of money... what they see was made of choices. I chose to live within my means and if I've paid over $400 in credit card interest in my entire life I'd be surprised. Most of that came from huge purchases or bad months/ emergencies wherein I could only zero out my balance by taking from savings... a major no, no. I am not WELL off by any means but I'm well off (thankful and grateful)... and it's why I take my money seriously. Work too damned hard to earn it! Lol. Ad for the toys youve acquired... i'd venture a guess more of the same. I have some nice toys (huge Stereo/ video fan) and i did what i always do. Not constantly upgrading, bang for buck value, and where I can I roll my own (not a single speaker in my place is store bought. All are DIY and quite nice i might add). The talent of choice and "delayment" of gratification are fast becoming a lost art. Kudos compadre.
Sorry, I never saw your post until just now. You got it though. And slowly, slowly, you buy a little something here, something there and years go by, you have stuff that other guys don't. Of course, I didn't go on $6k vacations every year. Actually, I never went on a $6k vacation. A few long weekends at the Jersey shore, maybe a ferry to Lady Liberty that's all.
Something funny though...
I had to look up your profile just now because a good friend of mine goes by SNSTR1 and has a black pickup. Then I saw your zip code. Right across the water from where we hung out with the Hoboken MC years back. Now I'm in TN for 'tax purposes" lol.
Be good brother

I give them ONE opportunity to get it right then I ask for the supervisor. If they can't get it right I put it into contest with my CC company. I have yet to not have the card company find for me!

Why is it that I can't make anybody under 35 yrs old understand just how important this one thing is. No debit card will do that. Your $$ is GONE, debit boy. Shoulda got a real credit card. Maximun responsibility is $50.. I've contested several charges that MC & Visa investigated and found in my favor. Never had to pay a dime.
