Add wire to power distribution box

I want to hardwire a dashcam into my 2016 1500 so it is always on (parking mode).

It looks like the fuse box under the hood doesn’t have any gaps in the lid to use the add a fuse wire.

Before I go straight to the battery with an in-line fuse, any suggestions on how to wire this?

Could you just tap a battery powered accessory in the cab? Maybe the lights in the overhead console?

Possibly. Would need to be always on and I thought the lights turn off automatically after a time. What other wires would be always on?

I was able to use fuse taps and thin gage wires to run into the fuse box without cutting or drilling. It was very fussy to tuck the wire in but it worked. I removed it a few weeks later and got the power adapter the uses the OBD port. Very clean and easy and provides parking mode power when off. Called PowerMagic for BlackVue camera. Attached picture of under hood wiring, and yes that is an earplug at the end of the wire boot...
