So I have seen a few grills with the Raptor style leds on eBay but did not like the overall look of them. So I made my own. It was pretty simple and might not be for everybody, but I like it and makes my Ram a little different.

Essentially, I had bought ten amber leds off Amazon a while back for a project and never got around to it, so I used them here. Just 3/4” leds, nothing special but surprising bright. Then I grabbed a spare piece of sheet metal I had laying around ($5 piece from Lowe’s I believe) and traced out/cut a stencil that would allow me to mount the leds. Transferred it over to the metal, drilled some holes, threw a coat of black paint on it and called it a day.

Still need to hook them up to my running light but waiting on my replacement hid to come in so I only have to take my headlight out once. I’ll snap another pic when everything is done.

Nice.
That’s pretty much how I did mine. Think I even have the same LED’s.
You can access the wiring right behind the grill, on the core support without pulling the headlight.

I will say though, I think I’m liking the honeycomb inserts a little more than my chrome slats.

I need to find a honeycomb grill. If I'm going to do it, I'm going overboard. Every top opening gets an LED. Who needs headlight?

Better yet, switchback LED for turn signals
