AEV snorkle for 2009+ 1500

I was just looking on AEV's website and there is an option under their snorkel kits for 2009+ 1500 hemi, v6, and eco diesel trucks. Its about $500 but I'm just exited AEV is making things for the 1500 and not just the 2500's. I've been waiting for a long time for someone to make a snorkel for the 4th gen ram!

well its more for precaution. Ive had tons of mud splashes around my intake. Its just a matter of time before i suck up water from a hole that was just a little too deep

also with that i could not worry about going through deep water/mud

Don't they have something like a 'sock' or whatever that keeps splash's of water out of the air filter? (frogskin????)

they have some pre filter (for dust). Would probably have to fab up something

unless your talking about the stock filter? then no there is nothing. Aftermarket cone filters have them but they wont stop a bunch of water from going in
