I'm looking to get a second set of wheels for winter and I had a couple of questions:

- Has anyone used aftermarket TPMS sensors? If so, which one are you using?
- What programming needs to be done? Does the Autel work on this truck?
- Does the truck (2022 Warlock) store more than 1 set of TPMS sensors or it needs to be programmed every time I swap the wheels?

I used these in my 2019 1500. Worked fine the truck leans which tires are on the vehicle in 2-5 miles.

I believe your 2022 uses a different frequency...I could be wrong on that.

It's not the same part number.

Wondering if the process is the same though (just put the wheels on and in 2-3 miles the truck will detect the changes on its own).

It works that way on mine. But when initially installed, they put in the wrong frequency and they didn't work. I had to get them changed out to the correct ones.

I checked the part number for a 2022 Warlock and it's this:68324960-AB
Which replaces all of these: 68157568AA, 68157568AB, 68239720AA, 68239720AB, 68239720AC, 68249197AA, 68324960AA

Ended up ordering these ones, I'll find out this coming week if they work or not.

depending on the Rams year ..
the TPMS frequency could be either
315MHz and 433MHz

Ram DT is the new body style
Frequency used is 433MHz
2019-2022 RAM 1500 TRUCKS

Ram DS is the Classic, ( 4th Generation )
?? using frequency 433 MHz also for the TPMS & RF Module

It says 434 Mhz in the description and 433 Mhz in the pictures...

I have a 2022 Warlock, so it's a DS body style.
Reviews are useless, since some say it works, others say it doesn't.

I ordered it based off the part number.

To save anyone else the hassle, these do not work with a 2022 1500 RAM Classic (Warlock)
Either I received 4 defective ones or it's the wrong frequency. Box says 433Mhz but who knows what they really are.

Also, here are the specs for the TPMS sensors in case anyone needs it (taken directly from Autel) and yes this machine does detect the OEM sensors:

Just an update, the RAM sport wheels that I got had TPMS sensors (assuming OEM ones), which worked on my truck.

No programming required. The truck detected them and I was good to go.

It's been my experience over multiple ram trucks, that OEM, out performs the aftermarket in TPMS sensors. So for this item I only buy Mopar sensors.

Every aftermarket sensor I've had drops out so the truck stops reading it, is far from accurate and if it does work, only last a couple of years.

I have OEM sensors in my 14, 15 and 16 rams and have no problems. All are original sensors so the 14s are coming up on ten years old.

My .02

If you noticed in the image above, the 2009 Dodge Ram, they used both the 315 MHz & 433 MHz tpms.

After that, they only used the 433 MHz TPMS
THE RAM DT & DS will not usually use the same TPMS

such as:

4X BRAND NEW ORGINAL OEM TIRE PRESSURE SENSOR TPMS 68293199AA-AB

Specifications:
Manufacturer Part Number : 68293199AA
Frequency: 433 MHz
QUANTITY: 4 PCS

FITS THE FOLLOWING VEHICLES:
2019-2022 RAM 1500 TRUCKS
THESE ONLY FIT THE DT (NEW STYLE). THEY DO NOT WORK ON THE CLASSIC.

Im so cheap I just turned them off on MY12 and set them to 0 on the wife's JK. I see zero reasons to waste money on these things.

I verify mine with a guage and then use them and do check them frequently. I find them to be handy and a heck of a lot easier then getting down on my old knee to use a guage on the tires weekly.

strangely enough i have a 21 warlock and my winter wheels (chrome plated 17" steelies) are from an early-mid 4g ram with oem sensors
when i install them in the winter i get the pressures displayed perfectly right off the bat leaving the parking lot

after about 10 to 15 minutes of driving the light comes on and says service tpms system and they wont work again until i install the summer wheels

always found that interesting haha
