Sorry Nuemie, I can hardly believe those heights with 990lb tongue weight. i had airlifts 1000's in my '13 with a 800lb tongue weight and wd hitch. still dropped the back by 2-3 inches at 35psi. quite bouncy on rough roads as well. On my '15 I spent the extra on the LL5000 Ultimate from airlift. with 40 psi there is 3/4" drop but they are much more stable.
So you straight up call him out because he's not running the exact same setup as you were. Okay.....

I was running probably 500-700 lbs of tongue weight on my truck with airlifts and only saw maybe an inch or two of sag at 38psi, and my rear end is lowered 4" from stock.

I currently have mine set up with the tee but was thinking about switching to individual valve stems for each wheel to better control trailer sway. Where do I get the replacement hose to re-run to the bumper?
I tried locally supplied hose which was not nearly as easy to work with. I ended up buying another kit so I have spares of everything. If you tow, keeping the bags separate is WELL worth it; don't use the tee!

Have them on my truck as well. I didn't see any different in rear height when hooking up my TT with WDH. What the bags did for me was removed all bounce while towing. Rear end stays nice and firm, no bounce which caused a lot of sway.

I have them ran with the tee and keep them at 15-20 psi unloaded, 35 psi when towing.

I just purchased the 5000 ULTIMATE bags with a wireless compressor. I can't wait to get them in and tow my camper with a little extra help in the rear. I've got a 27' camper and even with a load-leveling hitch it sags quite a bit when I'm loaded. So you only run 25 lbs with your camper? What's it weigh? My camper is 5500 lbs unloaded.

Did you get the 5000 installed yet? Am considering this for my 2014 crew cab to help with pulling my 26 foot camper. Kind of looked at the 1000 but think I will regret it down the road. Any info on how well it works for you would help me decide. Thanks

2.5 tons would be my guess. I don't have air bags on my truck but Ive hauled 4 tons of pulpwood on a bumper pull trailer and it looked way saggier than that

Both the 1000s and 5000s will do the job for you; this is still a light-duty half ton you're putting either bag into. Because they don't give you any additional capacity and knowing the 1000s are able to take a lot more abuse in other applications (with closer coil springs, to keep them inside), the 1000s are great for the money. If I wanted heftier bags I would consider the Timber Groves.
Or if you don't want to muck around with bags and don't mind a truck which rides more like a truck, TufTruck upgraded springs.
But the 1000s are awesome for our application.

heh, I have the 1000's and I tow a 34' Tracer 3150bhd with a blue ox sway pro WDH,
running the bags @ ~15psi and wheels @ 40psi. I could pump em up a little more tho, but I've only towed this one twice so far, my 2011 passport 290bh @ 33' towed like a dream and I ran the bags under 10psi with that one. but the new trailer is about 1500/2000#'s heavier. My stupid truck has 3.55's, not that they are horrible, but I need more off the line oomph when towing, so I just ordered 4.10's with anti slip from moe's yesterday, will solve that problem in a jiffy.

My 1000's do an awesome job of keeping our Reese dual cam WD hitch nice and consistently level so it can do its job, pulling our 35.5' Passport 3220BH.

I recommend the 1000 as well..I pull up to about 7k in my enclosed trailer almost daily and they are solid..back doesn't drop more then 2 or so inches with 5k pounds in my 2k lb trailer

I'd say it dropped 6 or more without them with the same type loads ...it disgusted me...the 100s do the trick

Quick question for the guys who have the 1000's.

I'm trying to lift the rear 1 inch unloaded. Can the 1000's do this without causing a harsh ride?

I got my 1500 lifted 4 inches and I was hoping for about an inch of rake. I'm currently siting level at all four corners.

I haven't installed them yet. My shop is being built. Should be done by this time next week. Then I'll get to work. I don't feel like doing this install in the dirt.

I did read up on the installation and I will have to cut the factory bump stops off, so I have that to look forward to. I purchased the bags with the internal bump stop, so I have no hard feelings about ditching the factory ones.

I'll post up once they're installed and I get to put them to use.

There may be a small amount of lift, but I doubt even 1" and the ride is firm to harsh when empty. Depends on your perception of what's harsh. I think most people on here add a 1" block to rear to put rake back in--but I have no personal knowledge.
