How is this unit? Ive never heard any reviews and im hardcore Alpine so this caught my interest. No cd/dvd player right? I wouldnt use it anyways but im trying to think if im thinking of the right h/u

Yeah no cd/dvd. I only used it about a week. I bought this and the sony xav 712hd. I've only ever used pioneer so I wanted to try something new. The sony just worked better for my needs. The alpine is a great unit. I wish I had something else to put it in. The sound is better out of the alpine compared to the sony.

Does it have Bluetooth and nav working or does it need adapters? I might be interested going to need something for the jeep I'm getting

It has Bluetooth built-in and is nav ready (you need the alpine adapter). And depending on the phone you have you may be able to have the nav from your phone displayed on the head unit
