These trucks are really moving with a few mods, kinda like the GM F-body LS1 cars. Dodge really has come a long way.

8speed trans? Hell of 60' time there. Those m&h tires are doing the trick on hooking

I am the last person on earth to pretend I have a clue on the info given... what kind of time would a normal bone stock 1500 do on the same race or drag or whatever you even call it?... a run maybe?

Depending on rear end and reg/qc/cc I'd estimate 14.5-15.2 100% stock.

Is that an 8 speed?

And does anyone know what wheels those are?

You guys are setting the bar high on these trucks. Good work! very impressive for your mods. Who will be the first to break 11's?

Yes, this is an 8 speed truck.

11's are right around the corner for a few of us. I think it is going to be extremely difficult to see 11's N/A on a stock block 5.7, but myself and 3 of my other customers that are now running 12's and 13.0's will be going with nitrous in the next few months. We are all just waiting for the cool air to blow out first. I'm hoping to see an 11.5 in my 5.7, and I think we can get a few of these crew cabs into the 11.9's.

Would it be an accurate statement to say that right now, a comparably modded 6/4.10 and 8/3.92 trucks are pretty close?
(Yes, I know there's no trans tuning for the 8 yet, which may become a game changer)

8 speeds are running about .5 faster in the 1/4 mile than the 6 speeds are...even the 6 speeds with 4.10's. The extra gears allow them to stay higher in the rpm band which is resulting in quicker ET's and higher MPH. The benefit that the 5 and 6 speed guys have is being able to use a higher stall converter. My blue truck ran a faster ET than Henry, but his 8 speed truck pulls quicker than mine does past the 60' mark. I only have a better ET because I cut a 1.66 60' compared to his 1.79.

Nice! He's really cooking it on the top end. I bet a converter would really pick up his 60ft times and bring him into the 12.50s if not high 12.40s. Are there performance converters out for the 8 speed yet?

None yet. I think this truck is going to beat my 12.49 time with a few more tweaks thiough. Friday was opening night for them, so he has to shake the dust off and get a feel for shifting the truck again. He hit the rev limiter twice on his first run, and short shifted it on the 12.61 pass. With the new exhaust cutout and correct shift points, I think he has some high 12.4's in it.

There's nothing better for 60ft times than nitrous. It has broken the backs of many turbo setups.
