Hey everyone. Just got a new set of wheels and tires. I went with fuel sledge 20x9 +1 and toyo open country AT3 in a 285 60r20. I already have 5100 bills but it's time to raise them up. I keep seeing everyone talk about potential issues with the 2.8 setting I have seen a few people discuss mevotech UCA would take care of this I couldn't find a specific PN in my searches. Rock auto has like 3-4 different part numbers for this brand. Will the PN CMS251057 and CMS251058 take care of this issue? I don't mind spending $150 to get the 2.8 don't really want to spend $800 on zones I'll leave it at 2.1 before I do that. Also got the tuff truck 1223vt also to bring the back up 1.5 I'll post some pictures once I get it all installed.

The Mevotechs are the same dimensions as the stock ones. The only change is better ball joint and forged construction. I have them on my 4th gen with a 2" level definatley Heavy duty compared to stock. Although for helping with ball joint angle, alignment No. The dimensions are the same as stock. Unfortunatley KSP, Zone,JBA,rough country are some that actually compensate for a lift and help with ball joint angle. On top of that camber and caster adjustment. The Mevotech TTX from my experiance so far is its def. An upgrade over stock. If your angles look pretty decent at 2.8 I'd run em. Worst comes to worst you need ones that correct the angle. Usually that ball joint issue is a problem on stock control arms. Also alignment may be an issue possibly as well at 2.8" with stock style control arms. Might not be long enough to give back some camber/caster adjustment.

Mevotechs are not angle correcting, the TTX are just a stronger stock replacement. you will need to go with an angle correcting UCA for the 5100's set at 2.8, or any height at or over 2". The Zone ones are what we recommend and are not $800. Shoot me a message and I can get you a quote for the Zone UCA's or anything else

Than you for the responses. I didn't realize and not sure how I missed that there was correcting UCA. I just thought the OEM were to weak. Learn something new everyday.
