Ladies and Gents,

Today I sprayed on some nightshades and it came out nice. Although I had a bit of kernalling due to the heat, but it's nice nonetheless. Next is debadging whilst heading toward the murdered out look. However I have one question.

Has anybody painted there chrome bumpers? I have the metallic black paint but I am a little apprehensive to paint it. Do you fellas think plasti-dipping them would look too odd? Please offer your .02

Geoff

PS. Trying to add a photo using my ipad. Hopefully it works

No to plastid on bumpers.

Id do it right and pay someone to spray them. But paint doesn't like chrome from what ive seen on the roads.

The only thing that may look funny in my opinion is dip is a matte black so u would have the gloss finish against a matte and it would probably stand out

Plastidip is a cheap way to help you decide if you should paint em, but long term, it looks like crap compared to your regular paint. A good body shop can scuff up your bumpers and shoot em with a filler primer and paint em body color no problem. Then it will look like it was supposed to be that way. Just my opinion.
