anyone ever put H11 (9011) in their 2500 fogs?

I had a set of H11's sitting around and for ***** and giggles I wanted to see if they would fit into my rectangle fogs on my PW, well with the normal trimming of the top tab, they went right in

was wondering if I might melt the fog housing

9145's 45 watts, approx 1000 lumens
9011's 65 watts, approx 2300 lumens

I know the 9145 to 9005 bulb conversion is popular for various car manufacturers headlights and fogs. 9005s are also 65 watt.
