Deals here are pretty decent but I'm not sure on the etorque.found a hydro blue classic that's almost equipped perfect for my liking but couldn't get the dealer to within 1500 of my taking price.the 5th gens have bigger rebates but I'm not sold on the etorque.may wait another month on the classic and see,it's been there130 days.

It seems the only problem here, is you deciding on what to do.
I would not get an E-torque, it will only be here a year or 2 longer, before
being discontinued.

And you do know, you can shop around with other dealers...........

Original question is still out there for those that actually own an etorque.

Not sure if it relates but my wife has a 2021 wrangler with E Torque and not a single issue. My pentastar ram non e torque gets 24mpg and wifes e torque pentastar wrangler gets 29 mpg.

2023 RAM 1500 eTorque with almost 1000 miles and zero issues. I too was on the fence about the eTorque after driving a used 2021 non-eTorque and 2023 eTorque back to back the 2023 was much smoother. Both were nearly identical and on the same 40 mile test loop I ran, the eTorque was 4mpg more efficient. After driving nearly 1000 miles in 3 days, I have no complaints.

It works fine, I wouldn't be shy of buying a Ram with Etorque
