Thinking about lifting my 2014 Ram Express with the 4.5 spindle kit. Looking at tire options thinking 33s maybe 35s.. But considering the black 20inch spares think it would look good against my blue ram.

I'm not clear on your question.
Are you concerned about needing to run the 20" spare against 33's or 35's (if you need a spare for a bit)?

I wouldn't personally. If you like the look of a steal wheel I'd buy black steal wheels that are designed to be used long term. Most of the time spares are made for temporary use

I agree with the above. You can probably buy aftermarket steel wheels for around the same price as spares. And they would be designed for full time use. Although that probably depends mostly on the spare tire and not the actual rim.

If you have a cheap source, it may work.
I'm not sure the spare rim would have enough backspacing for the spindle lift.

The 3rd gens had a full size 20" steel rim with a wrangler HP for the spare and we're good for full time use. I've seen 3rd gens in the past running these and I think it looks pretty good.
The 4th gen got the crap 17" temporary spare.

Yep what Myoung84 said, we got screwed on the 17. These are full size rims.
