You'll need a set of resistors spliced into the wiring or they'll hyper-flash or you can swap out the flasher to a LED flasher (I believe the 2nd gens still used a flasher module, been a while since I had my '98)

Purple LED light will only pass though a purple filter

Idk why you'd want to give them a reason to pull you over. It may end up just being an inconvenience in lost time but who knows what else they might stick on ya

im ordering new headlight housings with a clear (darkened) lense so there is no amber lense. (and no im not 21 yet)
