I've torn the dash out, removed the air box and rebuilt it ( evaporator core, heater core and fan, even got new door foam) the fan was bad, replaced all switches and the air bag switch is bad don't know about the radio yet. Computer says all sorts of stuff but can't locate an item, I got a O2 sensor bad but I replaced the lite switch, door lock switches, window switches, TIPM, some other stuff and new battery. Had alternator checked. Haven't opened door panels to check power locks or window motors checked all wiring when dash was removed and need any ideas for where else to go for parasitic power drains.
,# no under hood lite, no power seats

I would suspect a module is causing parasitic draw on the battery. I would wire up a simple light bulb to be able to visually see the draw. Then I would start by unplugging each module on the truck one by one and see if the light bulb extinguishes when you unplug each one.

I didn't see which exact truck you have and which engine. I would make a list of all of the modules on the truck and check off each one.

Depending on the year of your truck and its options the module list could look like this...

PCM
TIPM
WCM
WIN
RADIO
Airbag
ABS
RFH
DDM
PDM
TBCM
CCN

and the list can go on.

In the meantime, I would get a cheap battery maintainer and plug it in while parked.

Ok , no backstory, have you got a meter and checked current draw ?
Why the hell would you change all that stuff if you don’t know where to look?
Maybe I am missing something,
Or other posts ?

There are countless "how to" find parasitic drains in automotive videos on YouTube. I would watch some of those first, and if you have specific questions regarding what you are seeing, then ask. Finding them can be tricky. Please include your model year and trim level.

Hey folks, I have a 21 1500 limited longhorn with Eco D. I have gone through 3 batteries in 4 mos and my truck is at RAM being serviced for recalls and oil change. They did a draw test but found nothing except current battery, my 3rd is no bueno. I am losing all confidence in my truck and I Love my truck.
Thanks for any suggestions.

2023 RAM Laramie 4X4 purchased new, dealer refused to remove Stargard GPS and charged me for this product/service. November 2025 certified technician identified Stargard GPS as 700 mA draw on battery. Wire harness plugged into body control module + little black box, driver side under dash. Removed/solved the issue at an additional cost.

I would like to add that the certified technician told me that dealerships not only install these GPS trackers in the new vehicles for tracking their inventory, repossession, and I believe he mention they may add an additional module that allows them to remotely disable the vehicle if the owner misses payments. That just blew my mind. The dealership will not return my phone calls and Stargard will not accept liability for their defective product that caused the issue.
