Alright so I wanted to start a build thread because hopefully It will be getting built relativly fast.
Well after a few days I finally found just about what I wanted. I was driving a 2004 1500. It needed some work so I was trading it in. Upgrading. I wanted a '12 1500 in Cherry Red. After searching the three local Dodge houses, I finally found it. It had the Power rear window, It was a crew cab, had a Hemi, had the LSD rear end and they were gonna give me the best deal on my old 1500 and let me keep the $2500 worth of wheels and tires I put on it in February. Winning.
Here it is the day I brought her home. (17 May 2012)
Here it is today (22 May 2012) with the 35x12.5x17 BFG KM2's and a HBS 2.5 leveling kit I put on last night and debadged.
By the end of summer, I plan on have a 6" RCX with Bilstein 5100's and some Irok ND 37's under it full true dual exhaust, bed liner, Off road lights, and much more.
Here within a few weeks, I will have Skid plates all around, and tow hooks mounted up. I need to go through and water proof the Electronic 4wd as it will be used for what Im building it for. I play with some big trucks and the old Dodge ran with them just as good. Thats why I stuck with em.
If anyone has any info on aftermarket skid plates and hooks let me know!
