Hey everybody I got a good one for ya. My 2004 dodge ram 1500 4.7l is making a squealing noise only when it hits 1500 rpm and above. Replaced the belt, pulley tensioner with pulleys , and water pump. Tested powersteering pulley it is fine and alternator pulley is in good condition and they are all lined up. I can not figure it out. Please help? thanks.

Yeah that could be it, maybe someone else will chime in... I know I sometimes have a squeal when I get over like 2000rpm after I start it up and I believe its the compressor pulley because it wont happen if I turn the compressor is on

Same thing is happening to me. Same temp and everything. Only does it for a few minutes after start up, but yeah anytime you give it gas, it squeals.

Take your belt off, and take take a wire brush to all your grooved pulleys, then reinstall the belt and see if it still does it.

Good deal, if the grooves had junk all up in them, the belt was more than likely slipping on the pulleys.
