Hey guys i have a 2006 dodge ram 1500 4wd and was wondering what the best leveling kit is to get for it? I've heard some horror stories from people that bought the wrong products to lift their truck so i want to make sure i get a good product. Any suggestions and links would be great, thanks!

Bilstein 5100's are a really popular route people go.
On top of getting new shocks you can also pic the amount you want to raise the front (up to 2.8" I believe).
Something to look into.

Do you have a link by chance to what you're referring to? It's raised directly by the shocks?

Thanks for all the help guys, i'm gonna do a little research on both and see which one i like better. I'm new to lifting trucks so i was pretty lost considering everyone around me has chevys with torsion bars.

Be glad that you don't have to screw with torsion bars. Go the FAQ section on the Hell Bent Steel website. Reading their detailed description and advice is what sold me on their product. Not to mention the ease on the pocket book...

My shocks are high mileage so I'm replacing with Bilsteins. New upgraded shocks, plus leveling kit! Something else to consider when researching.

I did the Billsteins and couldn't be happier. Sadly the day after Thanksgiving I got t-boned by a ******* running a stop sign. Still waiting on insurance to fix or pay up.

Do you know if those would work on a 2wd 2004 Ram 1500?
