A buddy of mine gave me is flush mount Boss camera that came with is radio because he didn't want to drill any holes and he bought a lic plate mounted camera kit. My question is, would it be best to buy a whole tailgate handle with the camera already installed or could I just drill a hole in our handle and mount the camera there where the OEM goes? I see that the OEM/Aftermarket kits have the camera mounted to a bracket but I was thinking that the flush mount would be fine. Now, I don't have a HU that will support a camera yet but wanted to ask before getting one and find out my idea to use the Boss will not work. I did search on the site but after the third page did not see what I was looking for so I decided to ask. Not lazy just at work and only have a few minutes to search.

I’d go MOPAR... tailgates take a lot of abuse and I’d be afraid of having an aftermarket there.
